About the Event

The German electoral system is complex and significantly different from the Indian one. With the Munich Local Elections (Kommunalwahl) approaching on March 8, 2026, it is vital for our community to be well-informed and equipped to make their voices heard.

Join Ramakrishnan Pandiarajan, President of German Bharatham, for an exclusive, intimate awareness session with Mrs. Anshika Singh. This is not a political campaign, but a focused educational initiative to help the Indian diaspora understand the German government structure, the election process, and how we can achieve stronger representation in local governance.

What We Will Discuss:

  • The Election Process: A step-by-step guide to navigating the long ballot papers.
  • Party Structure: Understanding the CSU and how German political parties function.
  • Indian Representation: How having a voice in the Stadtrat (City Council) and Migrationbeirat (Foreigners Advisory Board) directly impacts issues at the KVR and across Munich.
  • Addressing Local Issues: Mrs. Singh’s vision for safety, housing, education, and mobility in Munich
  • Q&A: A rare opportunity to ask questions about the German government and how it serves the Indian community.
