On a cozy Saturday afternoon, the smell of Bhimas’ spices mixed with the scent of fresh watercolor paper. That’s how Brush & Blend began—calm, colorful, and full of warmth. Organized by Sketchit24x7 in partnership with München Bharatham, the event brought people together over art and conversation. Guests painted custom watercolor bookmarks—simple in form, but open to endless creativity.

🖌️ Scribbles to Serenity: Getting Started

We started with a scribble warm-up, a fun way to loosen up. It helped everyone relax their hands and clear their minds. Whether someone was new to painting or had some experience, everyone was welcome. Our guide, Pranathi Narayanareddy, shared the basics of watercolor step by step. She covered blending, gradient washes, soft layering, and brush control. Along the way, she added personal tips that made learning feel easy and natural.

🎨 Painting Our Stories, One Bookmark at a Time

Bookmarks soon turned into unique, personal pieces of art. Some painted florals, others sketched landscapes or playful abstract shapes. A few added quotes, making each piece truly their own. It was heartwarming to see ideas being shared and celebrated. Participants encouraged each other, laughed together, and let creativity flow freely. In the end, art did what it does best — connect people.
